As an educator and artist, I focus on providing students with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in the following broad areas: art and design, technical proficiency, and professional practices. Implementing and converting this philosophy into a functional curriculum is challenging, especially in this dynamic field. Fortunately, taking an idea or a concept and putting it into practice or turning it into something tangible is a process I have not only thought about extensively but have done repeatedly, both as a teacher and as an artist.
